2 c Sugar 1/2 c Syrup -- light 1 c Water -- hot 1/4 ts Salt Boil to soft ball stage. Add 1 t. vanilla, 1 t. lemon juice. Pour over 5 qts of popcorn, heated with 1 c. peanuts or 1 c. Walnut meats.
