Categories : Candies
Serving size: 10 Servings 1 pk Gelatin powder; * see note 1/2 c Warm water 12 Marshmallows; ** see note

Recipe By : Jo Merrill
Preparation Time : 0:55 Use any flavor gelatin mix; the 4 serving size is called for in this recipe from Kraft. Use 12 Jet-Puffed Kraft regular sized marshmallows. Spray 8 or 9-inch square pan with no-stick cooking spray (2-3 short sprays) Spread on bottom and sides of pan with paper towels. Mix gelatin and water in 2 quart microwave bowl. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High; stir to dissolve completely. Add marshmallows and microwave for 1 minute or until marshmallows are puffed and almost melted. Stir mixture slowly until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is smooth. Creamy layer will float to the top. Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate 45 minutes or until set. Loosen edges with knife for easy rolling. Starting at one edge, roll up tightly. With seam-side down, cut into 1/2 inch slices. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Makes 10-12 pieces. Tips: For easier cutting, use a sharp knife that has been dipped in warm water. Recipe can be prepared in advance. If refrigerated more than 8 hours, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before rolling. Jo Merrill-recipe from the Kraft company. -----
