Ingredients - Preparation Method:

3 pounds boiled beetroot 1 1/2 pounds apples 2 large onions 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 pound sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1 pint vinegar lemon juice Chop apples and boil 20 minutes in vinegar to which sugar, lemon juice, salt, ginger and chopped onions have been added.
